Dog: You damn fucking right I’m wearing a cap and fucking gown. I went to more classes den that long haired white hipster ass mofo other there so I KNOW I deserve this more than his ass. Can someone from the sciencey side of tumblr please explain this ?

This is called shape memory. It’s made from an alloy of titanium and nickel (I believe it’s called nitinol). It has the ability to “remember” the shape it’s taken.

When cold you can bend it whatever which way, but once you heat it (or in this case put it in what I presume is hot water) it will take the original shape.

uuuuummm you say “honest” like i have been lying to my followers this entire time. I am from atlanta, so i have the zoo at its worse and we were LITERALLY the worse. Did you read my last zoo queue? -> http://eruditionanimaladoration.tumblr.com/search/zoos%20queues

I dont think i would have even tried to work at zoo atlanta if i had any gripes about the place. We work with a few wildlife sanctuaries that take animals who we feel arent fit for zoo life. We are at the top of the species survival plan with the most gorillas and pandas born in north america. Plus our bongo has become a baby factory and our rhinos are in love. We have joined up with pheonix and san deigo zoo and have started to take conservation message to social media. through google+hangouts we have changed how grade school science is taught.

So HONESTLY I love everything about zoo atlanta

Well the “not so dangerous” ones are the ones you have to watch out for. For the most part animal handling is more based on personalities than species. Take our rhinos for instance. Or male is nothing more than a 2ton puppy. He loves being pet and hand feed. BUT he doesnt know his own strength OR that his horn is so hard. So there have been some broken bones from him just wanting to cuddle… In contrast our female Thinks everyone is a vet and wants to give her shots. So petting her is not an option unless you are ready to die. Shes getting better now that shes pregnant now though.
