I don’t know what to do…
A) Graduate in two years and
- Risk fucking up my GPA
- BUT if I don’t get into vet school the first year it’s only a year off.
B) Graduate in three years and
- Get a damn good GPA
- BUT have a for sure one year off before vet school.
I just want to be done.
If anyone reads this I’d really like advice, ha.
This is a common plight pre-vet versus a.sci…. Most of us go the full 4. the few extra classes are THAT much harder than the core courses we are already subjected to. PLUS if you do well in those extra classes it looks better on your transcript if it comes down between you and someone who just did pre-vet. If you are worried about hurting you GPA the somewhat good news is that depending on which vet school you apply to, they only look at the classes they require aka your “Science gpa” versus you Cumulative gpa. But again CHECK which schools do this because its not everyone.. i know Tuskegee, Auburn, and Georgia for sure though.. Hope that helps ;)
